Convert custom assistants from HuggingChat into chat interfaces with HuggingFace Spaces. Configure and download everything needed to deploy a simple HF space using Gradio.

API Key Variable Name

Name for the secret in HuggingFace Space settings

Access Code (Optional)

If set, students must enter this code to access the chatbot. After deployment, configure this securely via HuggingFace Space Settings → Variables and secrets → Add secret: 'SPACE_ACCESS_CODE'

Define the system prompt and assistant settings. You can use pre-configured templates or custom fields.
